What We Handle on a New Build

  • Design: room-by-room Manual J load calculation, Manual S equipment selection, and Manual D duct design, ready for permit.
  • Rough-in: trunk lines, flex runs, boots, returns, refrigerant line sets, condensate, and bath and range exhaust, after framing and before insulation.
  • Trim-out: air handlers or furnaces, outdoor units, registers and grilles, thermostats, and electrical connections.
  • Startup: charge verified, airflow checked, and a commissioning record you can hand to the homeowner or property manager.

Rough-In Done Right

Most comfort complaints in a new house trace back to the ductwork, not the equipment. Flex duct that sags, kinks, or runs twice as long as it should can choke airflow to a room even with a brand new system. Our crews pull runs tight, strap and support them at proper intervals, keep bends wide, and seal every connection so the air you pay to cool reaches the rooms it was designed for.

Multifamily Construction

On multifamily jobs the work repeats unit after unit, and so do mistakes. We build a layout for each unit type, rough in to that layout on every unit, and walk the floors with your superintendent before inspection. Equipment on the roof gets set by crane with the lift planned ahead, the same way we handle commercial rooftop work. See our multifamily HVAC and commercial HVAC pages.

Why Builders Use Us

  • 27 years in HVAC, residential and commercial
  • Experience working under general contractors on commercial and retail buildouts
  • Right-sized equipment from real load calculations, which means fewer callbacks
  • One point of contact from design to startup

Recent work: see our projects, including a full mechanical buildout at Willowbrook Mall and a helicopter rooftop unit lift.

New Construction HVAC Questions

Do you do HVAC for new construction homes?
Yes. We handle load calculations, equipment selection, duct design, rough-in, trim-out, and startup for new-build homes across North DFW.

Do you work on multifamily projects?
Yes. We work with general contractors and builders on multifamily HVAC rough-in and trim-out, with crews that can keep pace with a production schedule.

Do you size systems with Manual J?
Yes. Every new build gets a room-by-room Manual J load calculation, Manual S equipment selection, and Manual D duct design so the system fits the house, not a rule of thumb.

When do you need to be on site?
We schedule rough-in after framing and before insulation and drywall, then return for trim-out and startup once finishes are in. We coordinate with your superintendent on inspections.

Can you work with my GC or builder schedule?
Yes. Most of our commercial and construction work comes through general contractors, and we plan crews around the build schedule and inspection dates.
